BAF/MJ framework for J2ME application development

CTXM has developed a new low maintenance framework for J2ME business application development - BAF/MJ (Business Applications Framework / Mobile Java).

The Java 2 Platform Micro Edition (J2ME) provides a robust, flexible environment for applications running on consumer devices such as mobile phones, PDAs, and TV set-top boxes, as well as a broad range of embedded devices.

J2ME handsets are being actively deployed worldwide by all major cellular carriers and are supported by mobile manufacturers like Nokia, Siemens, Motorola and Sony Ericsson. The current market share of J2ME compatible handsets exceeds 40% of devices in use and grows at increasing rate.

The BAF/MJ framework ensures fast assembly of J2ME applications with a constant look and feel across all current J2ME compatible handsets on the market and easy customization to your corporate identity and representation requirements. Additionally, the BAF/MJ framework supports the CTXM J2ME RSA encryption library to ensure secure data transfer across mobile carriers.

CTXM has finished the development of mobile betting odds comparison J2ME client using BAF/MJ framework for leading UK mobile betting operator Cellectivity.
